We love merino wool and want our garments to accompany your little ones on every adventure. Here are a few tips to extend their lifespan:
- Air them out frequently. Fresh air helps prevent any unwelcome moth visitors.
- Turn garments inside out and place them in a mesh laundry bag.
- Hand-wash is best: use cold or lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent. Let the garment soak for 10 minutes, gently squeeze out excess water, then lay it flat on a towel and roll to remove any remaining moisture.
- If you use a washing machine, choose the cold-water, low-spin cycle.
- Always pick a detergent formulated for wool—trust us, it makes all the difference!
- Skip the fabric softener.
- Dry flat, not hung, so the garment retains its shape.
- Treat stains before washing by gently blotting with a damp cloth and wool-safe detergent.
Follow these steps, and your child’s merino wool pieces will stay soft, cozy, and ready for every new adventure.
Hand wash at a maximum of 40°C. Do not rub or wring the garments. Rinse thoroughly and remove excess water by gently pressing. Reshape while damp. For colored items, wash quickly without soaking for long.
Bleaching is not allowed. Only detergents that do not contain bleach should be used.
Natural drying process. Dry the product flat, in a horizontal position.
Ironing at max 110 ºC. Steam ironing may cause irreversible damage. Set the iron to position 1. Iron without steam, avoiding prolonged contact between the iron and the fabric.
Professional dry cleaning. The line beneath the circle indicates certain restrictions during cleaning: mechanical action, moisture, and drying temperature. Dry clean with tetrachloroethylene and solvents listed under the “F” symbol. Normal to mild process.
